Colombiana apasionada por el periodismo, la radio, los buenos libros y la música. Empecé a trabajar en periodismo cuando tenía 17 años y me enamoré de este mundo. He tenido la oportunidad de trabajar en radio y agencias de noticias cubriendo temas de economía, política y cultura en diferentes países. He cubierto importantes eventos a nivel mundial como la fallida entrega de la ayuda humanitaria a Venezuela en 2019, el proceso de paz, el paro agrario y la crisis energética en Colombia. 

Soy muy sensible, me indigno con las injusticias y creo profundamente en aquella frase de Gabriel García Márquez en la que dice que “ser periodista es tener el privilegio de cambiar algo todos los días”.

Actualmente vivo en Washington DC donde me dedico al periodismo freelance y estoy incursionando en el mundo de Relaciones Públicas de manera paralela.

Y como no todo puede ser serio, me gusta el vino, me apasiona la moda, la cultura, disfruto bailar y me encanta viajar. Mi lugar ideal es la playa, ahí siempre estoy bien. La cultura y el entretenimiento son siempre temas de interés para mí, me encanta el teatro, el cine y, sobre todo, la música.

Colombian passionate about journalism, radio, the good books and music. I started working in journalism when I was 17 years old and fell in love with this world. I have had the opportunity to work in radio and news agencies covering economy, politics and culture. I have covered important events worldwide such as the failed delivery of humanitarian aid to Venezuela in 2019, the peace process, the agrarian strike and the energy crisis in Colombia.

I am very sensitive and outraged by injustices. I deeply believe in that phrase by Gabriel Garcia Márquez that says “being a journalist is to have the privilage of change something everyday”.

I currently live in Washington DC where I dedicate myself to freelance journalism and I am venturing into the world of Public Relations at the same time.

And since not everything has to be serious, I love wine, I am passionate about fashion, I enjoy dancing and I love to travel. My ideal place is the beach, I’m always happy there. Culture and entertainment are always topics of interest to me, I love theatre, cinema and, above all, music.
